Just before the release of the successor of the Wii, the WiiU, Nintendo released a revision of the Wii from 2006. As with many hardware-revisions, the Wii Mini follows the simple rule: small, simple, cheap. Basically, all Wii-Features are available, but the Wii Mini lacks all network possibilities. Designed in black and red, with red WiiMote/NunChuck enclosed, the Wii Mini is made for families and young gamers. Other gamers will probably not be convinced by the lack of network capabilities, the bad TV signal and the only slightly cheaper price compared to the original Wii.
