The WiiU follows the footsteps of the exceedingly successful Wii: instead of trying to compete with the hardware power of Sonys and Microsofts next-gen projects, Nintendo wanted to build a small, silent and affordable console that should again convince with an innotvate input device. The WiiU Controller features a touchscreen that is able to show gameplay elements or the game itself, it has speakers, a gyroskop and more. However, this plan only partly succeeded: Although it is still too early to file this as a flop, the sales figures and also the amount of games released (especially first party game) disappoint. It has been one and a half year since its release, but still no Mario Kart, no new Zelda - both gamers and Nintendo can not be happy with this.
