As another VHS-console, the Takara Video Challenger can barely be called a videogame console, but still we decided to do so as it is interactive, hooks up to a TV, has exchangeable games and has a controller. It is a rather strange device, working with VHS tapes and photocells within the gun, triggering points on the console as you aim on targets on the screen. The System was licenced by Bandai to various countries in Europe and the USA. Shown here is the Italian version bei manufacturer GIG.
