The PC Engine Core Grafx is basically a normal PC Engine in a new housing. Apart from the new appearance, the RF output was changed against an AV output, taking care of better images on the TV. As the PC Engine has quite a big games library in Japan, the Core Grafx sold in solid numbers over there, just as all other variations of the PC Engine. Because of the AV output, it is still a recommended piece of hardware these days.
