After the 3DS and the 3DS XL, the NEW 3DS not only changes size, it offers a new processing unit, face tracking for improved 3D, shoulder buttons, a new C-stick and more. It is fully compatible with the original hardware, which was discontinued once stocks were sold. Other features like exchangeable faceplates and the NFC-module are worth mentioning as well.
