After the Leapster and Leapster 2, Leapfrog launched 2 systems of their 3rd generation basically at the same time: the Leapster Explorer and the Didj. The Didj is a really nice and handy device, coming with quite nice specs and an ARM9 CPU with 400 Mhz. Games are available as download and on cartridges. As it runs on a modified Linus operating system, the Didj found some fand within the hacking and homebrew community besides its usual target audience of kids between 4 and 9. Some big names like Star Wars are available for the Didj, which had a US and a limited European release.
