Although Epochs Cassette Vision never had huge success even in its home-market Japan, it established itself on the market for a few years in the early 80ies. Proof for this is not only the successor "Super Cassette Vision" but also the Cassette Vision Jr.. It is an early example of a well done hardware-revision, with reduced size and price, expanding the lifespan of this system by a few years.
