The Gamepark series of handhelds is a wild ride. After a noteworthy success with the GP32, the original Gamepark company closed down, while former employees founded Gamepark Holdings, the sucessor company. Under this brand, various open source handhelds were release. The Cannoo is the successor of the GP2 Wiz, which itself was the successor of the GP2X. Slight improvements in processing power and a really nice design made up this device especially popular among the homebrew- and demo-scene.
