After Microsoft made a surprising amount of mistakes for with the XBox One (TV! TV!, games trading, ...) and thus obliterated a lot of support they gained with the 360-generation, they returned to former glory with the Series X & S and focussed on games and their players again. Impressive specs and performance and the Gamepass concept are their tools - and it looks as those work! Despite serious problems with availability, Microsofts commitment looks serious again.
