After the WiiU could not follow up the success of the Wii, Nintendo was under pressure. This resulted again in a concept which did not want to take part in the technology race of Sony and Microsoft, but another fresh approach to gaming itself. Instead of offering another control-concept of body controls again, the idea was a bit more conservative and combined stationary with mobile gaming. WIth that, Nintendo landed another huge success.
