Description

The Studio II from RCA (a Studio I only exists as a prototype) is a US development from 1977. The system features black and white graphics from 5 built in games. 10 additional games are available on cartridge. The RF-switchbox of the Studio II is quite unique, as it also supplies the system with power as well. As the Fairchild Channel F was already available at the release of the RCA Studio II, and the Atari VCS 2600 was only released 8 months later, it failed commercially and was discontinued only 2 years after its debut. However, clones of the system were released in Europa (i.g. as MPT-02) and Japan (Visicom Com-100).
