The PS4 Slim was anounced shortly after the Pro. It came with a smaller housing and lost a lot of weight, while features like the Toslink connector were scrapped. Power consumption was also improved. Of course and just as the Pro who added not only a different design but really more power, the Slim was fully compatible to the original PS4 and all of its games.
