The Neo Geo was and is the king of 2D arcade gaming. With a joyboard as big as the system, and games often costing 500 USD +, this is the Mercedes among the videogame systems of the early 90ies. The Neo Geo has an avid fanbase, keeping prices for the system and games on a high level. 3 CD version were released after this cartrdige-version. Furthermore, the Neo Geo X, a handheld with a docking station and pre-installed games was released in 2012.
