The Tandy/Memorex VIS was released in the USA only and was aiming at other multimedia-gaming competitors like Philips CDi. It was released with good hopes, but struggled with bad decisions. First, the price point was too high with 699 USD. Real gaming systems and competitors were cheaper. Secondly, it was exclusivey sold through Radio Shack, hindering distribution. Among 70 titles, a few real games were releases such as the popular Links (golf). Units CIB are quite rare these days.
