The Leapster L-Max is the third version of the Leapster Handheld by Leapfrog. While the technical specifications of the systems did not change, the housing is re-designed and offers one nice advantage: the handheld can be hooked up to a TV through a newly added output jack. The L-Max was released 1 year prior to the Leapster TV which was Leapfrogs first real TV-console. Again, the system looks quite huge and not really ergonomic, but obviously this is what kids like, and at least the system should be quite durable through that design.
