The Dsi followed the DS Lite, Nintendos first revision of the original Nintendo DS. While the housing and size remain almost identical to the DS Lite, the DSi was technically advanced. It featured 17% bigger screen size, a 2nd camera and access to the online store branded "DSi Ware". It's successor, the DSi XL, was release a year later as the final revision of the DS.
