The CD-I was an ambitious concept designed by Philips and released all over the world. There are countless systems released in this range, from portable systems to CD-player styled ones. Even Sony released a CD-I. The 450 has a focus on the videogame market and was among the best selling systems, but overall, the concept only had minor success.
