While the Mega Drive Minis have a classical retro TV approach, the Astrocade focussed on arcade releases in a nice cabinet with added TV-connection and joypads. Due to this fresh approach and some great games, including finally a good Rad Racer home release, it is our favourite Mini Console. A 2nd version with an upright screen was reelased in 2022.
