The Sega Pico edutainment system, released worldwide and thus quite well known, has a Japan-only successor in form of the Sega Beena. The games are still book-styled cartridges, with improved graphics and sound. Furthermore, the system has an SD-slot now, and the system functions without a TV now. Games were produced until 2011.
