The follow up to the immensely successful SNES had to suddenly compete with Sony as a new and powerful rival, and lost the race. Although many great games were available, and although it sold well all over the world, the Playstation won the race of that generation.

Der Nachfolger zum immens erfolgreichen SNES hatte ploetzlich mit einem viel haerter umkaempften Markt zu tun, nachdem Sony mit der PSX als kraeftiger Rivale aufgetreten ist und in der Tat hat Big N das Rennen verloren. Auch wenn viele tolle Titel veroeffentlicht wurden, und auch wenn das Geraet sich weltweit gut verkauft hat, hat die Playstation das Rennen gemacht.
